I just heard from Grace Mott, a lovely person who was very enthusiastic about my book. She’s the office manager of The Writer’s Center in Bethesda, MD. It was being renovated when I accepted my First Novel Prize there in September and is now completed. I’m happy to say a remnant of me remains in the form of a print of one of the illustrations from my book “The Coney Island Book of the Dead ” which they rehung in their newly painted reading room.
